long enough ago
to
accept
a life unknown
I
will
jes
take a stab
at
what I'm in for
as
I pour my heart out
into
an empty glass
seemingly
such things are over overrated
but
that doan mean much to me
I
suppose
you jes have to believe
it
is
so
armed with no bowl of fruit on my table
I wipe a seasons worth
of
dead flies
from
the sill
waiting to come or go
the dog sits by the door
throughout the night
even wrath
can
laugh at itself-
